In the first half of last year, China's E-cigarette market broke out, investors and brand owners ran into the market, and many E-cigarette brands were registered in the second half of 2018 and the first half of 2019. Although the Tobacco Bureau has intervened to restrict the operation of E-cigarettes, its broad definition is still electronic products, and many e-cigarette brand companies that entered the market last year used to be from the electronics industry, especially from the mobile phone circle.
Because there are many mobile phone people in the upstream who are making e-cigarettes, it has also led to the participation of downstream mobile phone dealers. Especially in the first half of the year, driven by many well-known brands, many people in the mobile phone system participated in the downstream sales, including the current 4th generation of RELX's national bag Aisid and the mobile phone chain Dixintong have entered the field of e-cigarettes.
It is understood that many of the local mobile phone chain stores across the country and the wholesalers in the mobile phone market were involved in the sales of e-cigarettes in the first half of last year, becoming provincial, municipal or regional packages. Although there are human factors of upstream and downstream mobile phone people, the most important thing is that mobile phone dealers were also in the demand period of adjustment and even transformation to seek new projects or profit growth points last year, and the mobile phone circle has a characteristic: fierce competition and a strong sense of crisis.
In such a context, there are many interveners who have a try-out attitude. However, after several months of attempts, especially after the promulgation of the national ban on online sales in the second half of the year (which also affected offline sales), many mobile phone companies withdrew from the e-cigarette circle and stopped doing it. There are many reasons for this, and the most talked about is "the scene is wrong, the sales are average, and there is no mobile phone to make money".
